MCRAE LUMBER DOUBLES COMMUNITY IMPACT WITH CATCH THE ACE

McRae Lumber is stepping up in a big way for local healthcare. For the next month only, the Whitney-based company will match proceeds from Catch the Ace ticket sales, up to $10,000, doubling the impact of every ticket sold.

Catch the Ace tickets are just $10, with 50% of each ticket directly supporting the St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation (SFVHF). These funds help purchase essential equipment and support healthcare services at St. Francis Memorial Hospital, Valley Manor, and Madawaska Valley Hospice Palliative Care.

With McRae Lumber’s matching contribution, every ticket this month goes twice as far in supporting patient care close to home.

“This is a game-changer,” SFVHF Executive Director Erin Gienow said. “When you buy a ticket this month, you’re not just supporting healthcare - you’re doubling your impact, thanks to McRae Lumber’s generosity.”

Catch the Ace is an exciting progressive raffle where jackpots grow weekly until the Ace of Spades is found. Tickets are available at www.sfvhfcatchtheace.com or at the following local vendors:

Whitney Pharmacy, Lorraine’s Pharmasave, Barry’s Bay Shell, SFVH Foundation, Barry’s Bay Ultramar, Eganville Country Depot, Conway’s Pharmacy (Eganville), Killaloe Village Pharmacy, Killaloe Hardware, Ramona’s Hairstyling, CO Country Market, The Cottage Cup, Round Lake Centre Food Market and Round Lake Country Store.

McRae Lumber, a longstanding supporter of community initiatives, encourages others to join in.

“Healthcare is something that touches all of us,” Co-Owner Cameron McRae said. “We’re proud to help strengthen local care, and we hope the community will get behind this initiative.”

McRae’s is also issuing a challenge to other local businesses to purchase tickets for their own staff and loved ones. Together, the community can double the impact and show just how much we care about healthcare close to home.

“We’re betting on local healthcare, and we hope other businesses will rise to the challenge,” Cameron said. “This is a chance to make a real difference - twice.”

Catch the Ace is a progressive raffle where jackpots grow weekly until the Ace of Spades is caught. Don’t wait: The match is available for a limited time and up to $10,000.
