Friends of St. Francis Charity Golf Tournament Celebrating 20 Years

This year we will be celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Friends of St. Francis Charity Golf Tournament. What started in 2005 as a modest fundraiser for St. Francis Memorial Hospital has become one of the most anticipated events of the golf season.

You are invited to register for the 2024 tournament, which returns to the Homestead at Wolf Ridge Golf Course on Friday, August 30!  Begin the day at 11:00 am for a shotgun start. Enjoy 18 holes of golf while participating in the various contests throughout the day. Once you return from the course, the band Odd Man Out will entertain you before dinner, which features a buffet with beef and chicken as the main course.

With all that being said...YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS THIS!!  We cannot wait to see you all once again for a great day of golf, fun and best of all, it’s for a great cause!

This year’s tournament will help support the needs of local healthcare, including the purchase a telemetry unit for St. Francis Memorial Hospital. Telemetry monitoring enables healthcare professionals to continually track patients’ heartbeats and see how their hearts are functioning. Doctors and nurses use telemetry systems to check for abnormal patterns in patients’ hearts that might indicate heart problems. It is wireless so no cables are required, providing better mobility for patients.

The call for registration of teams is now open.  Please share this letter with your teammates. Complete the attached sign-up form and return it along with payment for your foursome no later than August 1, 2024. You can also register online at www.sfvhfoundation.com. Spots will be reserved on a first come, first paid basis. Receipts will be issued to the person making the payment only.  If each participant on your team requires a receipt, each individual player must make separate payments.  In the event of a personal cancellation, refunds will not be issued.  You are welcome to fill your spot and let us know the arrangements you have made so that we have the correct name of all golfers.

If you are unable to attend the tournament this year, you may consider making a one-time donation. Should you have any questions, please contact either Doug Reeves (613-756-7778) or the Foundation Office (613-756-3044 ext. 217).  Have a great summer!  We can’t wait to see you on the course on August 30.
